4-H Information Session
Looking for engaging activities to nurture your children? Find out about opportunities for youth at the 4-H Information session. New groups are starting: a 5-8 year old group, a 9-10 year old group and more. 4-H is open to 5-18 year olds to explore a wide range of topics, from science to plants and animals. The session is Tuesday, September 21 at 6:00 at the Agricultural Conference Center. For more information, contact 264-3061.

Summer Activities

It's time to sign up for 4-H Super Summer activities. These workshops are designed for 5-12 year olds to engage in fun and learning this summer. We will be exploring science in the kitchen and bath, creepy, crawly creatures, gardening, and other outdoor activities.

4-H Photography Contest
If
you love photography, join in on the state 4-H photography contest. The purpose of the contest is to showcase 4-H'ers photographic accomplishments. Winners will be displayed at various 4-H events.
Contest categories this year include our standard "4-H in Action" and "Nature's
Beauty" categories, with a new category this year of "4-H Family." Each
category will be divided into a Junior (Ages 9-12) and Senior (Ages
13-19) division.
Entries should be brought to the local 4-H office by June 7.

4-H Poultry Group

Love animals? Join the 4-H Poultry club. This group is meeting once a month and exploring the wonderful world of chickens. Learn how to raise chickens, how to care for them and show them, and other things you can do with chickens. Tours and hands-on activities.
The next meeting is Thursday, May 20 at 5:30 at the Agricultural Conference Center.
Regular meeting dates will be established as the group forms.

Chicken Show

4-H Youth Gardening Workshop

Explore the wonders of plants and gardens! In this workshop we will explore flower power and start some sunflower seeds. Attendees and parents will also receive inspiration, resources and ideas for planting a garden at home.
