Explore Horses

Love horses?  Explore the wonderful world of horses through 4-H.  Horse groups are forming.  Target meeting dates are the 2nd Thursday and 4th Tuesday of the month.  
You do not have to own a horse to learn more about horses.  Many opportunities exist through the 4-H Horse program, from horse bowls to artistic competitions.  The NC 4-H Horse program has a list of opportunities through the 4-H horse program.   See the NC 4-H Horse facebook here.

Blue Ridge Open Charity Horse Show hosted by 4-H

Join us in beautiful Blowing Rock for our horse fun show, Saturday, September 24 and Sunday, September 25. The deadline to pre-register is coming up September 8. Event-day registration is also available.

We have a varied class list for all ages.

Day 1: Halter, Western, Non-trotting, fun games

Day 2: English, Hunters, Jumpers, Dressage Suitability

The show will be held at Blowing Rock Equestrian Preserve. The start time is 9:30 am Saturday, and 8:30 am Sunday.
