The 4-H Vermicomposting program is offers students the opportunity to explore a micro-community. Through the 6 lessons, students build a worm bin, explore how worms are nature’s recyclers, search for decomposers and more. The lessons are tied to the Department of Public Instruction Standard Course of Study. Contact 4-H to receive technical assistance and to see the lessons. 264-3061
