4-H Poultry Group


Love animals? Join the 4-H Poultry club. This group is meeting once a month and exploring the wonderful world of chickens. Learn how to raise chickens, how to care for them and show them, and other things you can do with chickens. Tours and hands-on activities.
The next meeting is Thursday, May 20 at 5:30 at the Agricultural Conference Center.
Regular meeting dates will be established as the group forms.

Chicken Show


Love chickens? Expand your horizons with the 4-H poultry program. Here's a chance to receive some heritage chicks you can raise. Then, show off your chickens and chicken knowledge.

4-H Youth Gardening Workshop


Explore the wonders of plants and gardens! In this workshop we will explore flower power and start some sunflower seeds. Attendees and parents will also receive inspiration, resources and ideas for planting a garden at home. The workshop is targeted for 5-12 year olds and will be held at the Agricultural Conference center from 10:00-11:30. To register or for more information, contact Watauga County 4-H at 264-3061.
